Bathroom shot: The Frick Collection
My first time here. Lovely and peaceful. An impressive collection for any museum, but when you realize the works were acquired by one man for his personal use and are displayed the way he lived with them, it adds an entirely different level of interest.
The fountain in the Frick courtyard. Right after I took this, I got in trouble by the security guard.
M’s mom is in town and we went to see Billy Elliot last night. It was the best musical I have seen in a long time. Friends of Rick’s have a son (Keean Johnson, pictured) who played the role of Michael and he was so incredibly good- great comic timing, excellent dancer- he just has that spark. I’ve only met the kid once and I was crying because I was so proud of him!

Dancing around the living room! I’m in the best mood. Happy Fourth of July everyone!

Our view of the fireworks (from the roof of my work building) was average, but the sunset and the moonrise made up for it!
P.S. Loving this new mini slideshow feature!
