CSA Dinner: Stir Fry Beef with Braised Kashmiri Greens over Rice
This made use of the Asian spinach as well as the greens from the kohlrabi, which I probably would have just thrown away. I dusted the sirloin with dry spices similar to those found in lamb rogan josh so it would go with the greens. My main criticism of the meal is that it was little too flavorful. I am still getting used to cooking with Indian spices and have a tendency to overdo it when I wing it.
Tomorrow I’m making a salad using apple and the bulb of the kohlrabi, which has held up well. I still haven’t used the spring mix, and it’s definitely on its last leg. Maybe for lunch tomorrow?
